The Canon 5D Mark IV Is Here!

The Canon EOS D5 Mark IV is a Digital Single-Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera that was originally released in August of 2016. Containing a 30.4 Megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor with a format factor of 1.0 and an aspect ratio of 3:2, for versatile shooting in nearly any light. The 5D Mark IV comes with lots of extra features to get the perfect shot, and is now available for N2M2L members to rent for the low price of $100 per day.

The 5D Mark IV is a larger camera with dimensions of 5.9” x 3” x 4.6” and weighs in at around 1.96lbs. It has a great battery life, allowing users to take up to 900 shots on a single charge. It also has the ability to record 1080p videos up to 60fps, 720p videos up to 120fps and 4K videos with up to 30fps. It also comes with an improved high resolution LCD touchscreen, allowing photographers to select the cameras auto focus point before and during video recording. And a dual pixel RAW mode, which allows photographers the ability to fine tune the focus in post production.

The 5D Mark IV is capable of burst shooting 7fps, and has two slots that can be used to save images on either a compact flash or a SDXC card. It also has its own GPS, and the ability to connect to WiFi which makes it easier to transfer images from the camera to an editing device. It also relies on optical image stabilization in OIS-equipped lenses to reduce the risk of handshake-induced blur.

Some other cool features included with the 5D Mark IV are an anti-alias filter to avoid artificial patterns to appear in images, making it considerably easier to control moiré in photographs. An optical view finder, offering lag-free viewing and a very clear framing image. Has a bigger screen for image review and settings control. And an ISO range from 100-32000; expandable up to 102400. It can even be connected and controlled by a smartphone!
