N2M2L Summer Programming: Creativity for All
Near North Mobile Media Lab (N2M2L), a leading non-profit digital media arts organization is pleased to announce their new programming for the Summer of 2023.
Staff at N2M2L have developed an exciting array of programming, providing engaging and imaginative opportunities for both youth and adults to get involved, including: A Digital Creator North Summer Camp for kids aged 11-14, beginning August 21st; introductory workshops for adults on Virtual Reality Filmmaking and Colour Grading; Open Studio Session for N2M2L members held every third Monday of the month from 5-9 PM in our Digital Creator Maker Space.

Digital Creator Summer Camp for Kids
Dates: August 21-25th, 2023
Cost: $250
Ages: 11-14
Location: Digital Creator North Bay
N2M2L presents an extraordinary chance for children aged 11-14 to unleash their creativity and embark on a journey into the realm of digital art. This camp offers a wide range of activities, including virtual reality painting, digital photography, and the art of editing and design. Under the guidance of our expert instructors, young creators will discover their inner artists and develop valuable skills that will last a lifetime.

Virtual Reality Filmmaking Workshop

Colour Grading 101 Workshop
Dates: September 10th, 2023
Time: 12:00pm – 5:00pm
Cost: Members: $40 | General $60
Ages: 18+
Location: Digital Creator North Bay
This intro to Colour Grading workshop will delve into the art of enhancing mood and narrative through precise color adjustments. Participants will be exploring both basic correction as well as stylized grades. Whether you’re an aspiring filmmaker, video editor, or content creator, this workshop is your gateway to elevating your visual storytelling skills.

Open Studio Sessions
Dates: Every 3rd Monday of the Month beginning July 17th
Time: 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Cost: Free to N2M2L Members
Location: Digital Creator North Bay
Members can take part in our monthly Open Studio sessions at our Digital Creator space in the lower floor of the Capitol Centre, where artists of all disciplines can come together to collaborate, share ideas, and inspire one another. Drop by to experience the joy of creative expression in an inclusive and welcoming environment brimming with cool digital media tools and gear.
