The Near North Mobile Media Lab is excited to celebrate another successful year for the Doc North Film Festival. This year was the 3rd annual festival and took place at Nipissing University Theatre in North Bay, ON. from September 27-29th, 2013. This year’s festival included 17 films celebrating the best in Canadian and international documentary cinema.
This year’s special presentation was on Saturday, September 28 at 4:00 pm, and featured a screening of the legendary Canadian film Project Grizzly, followed by a Q&A with director Peter Lynch and an exclusive demonstration by Troy Hurtubise himself, inventor and star of the film.
The festival also boasted a full roster of festival events including panel discussions, a master class and lively after-parties guaranteed to keep the conversation going.
