About Sandy
Sandy McLennan is a rejuvenated multidisciplinary artist, thrilled to have opportunities to be making, showing, and chatting about. A 1981 Sheridan College Media Arts graduate and Audio-Visual/Computer Technician in schools until 2014, he employs a range of hand tools from 1950s movie cameras to cell phone. He develops film, projects 8mm/super 8 movies in a portable cinema, and has an Ontario Arts Council grant to teach analog/pinhole photography in a portable darkroom. His 2016 solo exhibit reflected 30 years of inhabiting a personally-evolving Muskoka “cottage country”. He has exhibited motion pictures, audio, photography, and installation/performance.
