Process Art in Filmmaking:
Artist Talk with Casey McGee!
*UPDATE: Process Art in Filmmaking will also be streaming live on the Digital Creator North Bay Facebook page to allow for a wider audience to tune in.
SAVE THE DATE! Join us April 3rd, 2024 at 7pm in the Spotlight Lounge at the Capitol Centre for ‘Process Art in Filmmaking’, an artist talk by Casey McGee.
Since January, Casey has been working on a film project in our Digital Creator studio where they explore themes of existential dread and existential joy.
Casey is an emerging artist, focused in art direction, community arts, and film directing. They are currently streaming part-time and working on various personal projects in cosplay, filmmaking, and online content creation. Casey previously produced the documentary “10/17” which was selected by four festivals internationally, and received an Award of Commendation at the Canadian and International Short Film Fest in Saint John, New Brunswick. Casey looks forward to creating content that people can see themselves in, focusing specifically on queer content and themes like identity and self-love.
We’d like to thank the Capitol Centre for their ongoing support of our activities, including hosting this artist talk.
