Nadine Arpin (@cedarwaterfilms) is a Two-Spirited Red River Basin Metis director/filmmaker located in Sioux Lookout, NWO where they have been producing short films since 2014. Nadine has been producing and directing independent short films since 2014 with her film production company Cedar Water Films. Nadine’s films are noted for telling stories that blur the lines between legend, memory and truth, using mix media, found footage and animation to create a hybrid cinematic experience. Their work has been screened both nationally and internationally at imagineNATIVE, Skabmagovat – indigenous peoples’ film festival, Winnipeg Aboriginal Film Festival, Garifuna International indigenous film festival, and Chicago’s First Nations Film and Video Festival.
