These terms and conditions form the Rental Contract between YOU (to be referred to as the RENTER) and The Near North Mobile Media Lab (to be referred to as the RENTEE) and apply to all the equipment rented by YOU. 
 
  • The RENTER shall keep and maintain the rented equipment through the duration of it’s rented period at the RENTERS expense. They shall keep the equipment in its current state of repair when borrowed, normal wear and tear (at the consideration of the RENTEE) is expected.
  • The RENTER shall pay the RENTEE full compensation for the replacement and/or repair of any equipment that is not returned, or returned in a damaged state at the consideration of the RENTEE. The RENTER is held accountable for any lost/stolen equipment to which they claim initial responsibility. The invoice issued will state all accountable monetary amounts, therein by agreed to be paid in full by the RENTER.
  • The RENTER shall not remove the equipment from the address of the RENTEE without prior written approval of the RENTEE.
  • The RENTER shall not remove the equipment from the address of the RENTEE without first inspecting all components of the equipment to confirm it is complete and in working order.
  • The equipment shall be picked up by the RENTER and returned to the RENTEE at the expense of the RENTER. If the equipment is returned later than 5:00pm on the agreed upon ‘Rental Return Date’ then the RENTER is subject to the additional costs applied to them by the RENTEE.
  • The RENTEE shall not accept return of the equipment from the RENTER without first inspecting all components of the equipment to confirm it is complete and in the same state as when rented.
  • The RENTEE provides no warranty of any kind regarding the rented equipment, except that the RENTEE shall replace the equipment with identical, or similar equipment if the equipment fails to operate in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and operational instructions at the expense of the RENTER. Such replacement shall be made at the convenience of the RENTEE.
  • The RENTER relinquishes all responsibility of the RENTEE for any/all injuries or damages sustained in full or partial use of the provided equipment or transportation thereof.
  • The RENTEE is not responsible for providing the RENTER with any accessories, such as single-use batteries, memory cards etc. nor to cover the cost of the RENTER buying such items, unless previously agreed upon and/or booked through the system.
  • The RENTEE will not be held liable for any losses due to failure of equipment, beyond the reimbursement of rental charge for failed equipment.
  • The RENTER is solely responsible for the protection and backup of the RENTER’S data.
These terms are accepted in full by the RENTER upon the booking of equipment through this website.
